I got this along with a jewelry box as one of my girlfriend's presents for xmas this year. The product is nicely built and looks good on our dresser alongside the Umbra box. It works well for keeping the necklaces tangle-free, regardless of their assorted lengths, since there are multiple levels to hang from. It certainly fit the bill as a good combination between a cute/funky style and utility.

I ordered this because it's cute and I wanted something for my longer necklaces. I hated how they were getting tangled in my regular jewelry box. One great thing about this tree is that the arms swivel, so necklaces do not get tangled. I think it's a great buy for $20.

After reading the the two previous reviews I purchased the Umbra Tree. However, when it came in the mail it had three cracks in the acrylic and wasn't tall enough for my necklaces which are average in length. It definitely wasn't worth $30, so it was returned. I went to Marshalls the other day, and saw that they carried many Umbra jewelry stand products for a WAY cheaper price (averaging $9.99). If you don't want to spend money on an overpriced item and pay shipping and handling, take a look there first!
